A truly excellent photographer and friend of mine, Nick Onken, just made the cover of Linux Journal magazine (April 2006), literally. The funny part is that he's pictured with a Macintosh Powerbook (the Apple logo removed from the photo). I guess we're lucky that the Linux community is the most open-minded of all the OS cults. Of course, they might just make the assumption that Nick is running Linux on the Powerbook, which is possible.
The photo is credited to Chase Jarvis -- another Seattle-area photographer that Nick works with.
This will not be Nick's 15 minutes of fame. He is a rising star that I can guarantee you will see more of in the future. I've always felt very fortunate to have had him shoot my executive profile photos.
